Only one year old and they’ve toured the UK, released an EP and had airplay on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Merseyside and Channel 4. We’re talking about Liverpool 5 piece band Bird of course!

Atmospheric Folk is what these guys have been described as, which makes sense with Adele Emmas’ haunting and poetic lyrics about the moon, ghosts, sunken ships, halloween and dark, twisted fairy tales – these guys will leave you with hairs standing on the back of your neck.

So it only makes sense that their debut EP ‘Phantoms’ was released on Halloween this year on Jack To Phono Records, with another planned for Spring 2012. Phoar, these guys really are soaring! (no pun intended..)
